Ferulic Acid
WHAT IS IT? |
---|
Ferulic acid is a phenolic acid found in turmeric. It is also one of the compounds that curcumin metabolizes into. Ferulic acid is found in many other beneficial herbs, grains, and spices, such as arnica, astragalus, bilberry, black cohosh, carob, centaury, chickweed, Chinese rhubarb, dill, eucalyptus, eyebright, pearl, and red and black dates. Studies suggest these may help with inflammatory skin conditions, hair loss, diabetes, stress, and even keep your nails looking healthy. |
