Ginger and Turmeric Tea

Easy recipe for ginger and turmeric tea.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh turmeric or 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions:

  • Bring water to boil.
  • Add ginger and turmeric.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Pour through strainer into a mug.
  • Add lemon juice and maple syrup, mix well.
  • Enjoy.
